COVID-19 travel regulations to South Korea
Starting from Apr 1st, 2022, vaccinated travelers who present proof of ALL three types below will be eligible for quarantine exemption in Korea*. All proof should be available in English. [1]
1.Proof of full vaccination (validity begins 14 days after the 2nd shot for a two-dose vaccine (the 1st shot for Janssen) up to 180 days or upon completion of a 3rd booster shot)
2.Proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure
3. Registration of the traveler’s vaccination history through the Q-Code system PRIOR TO departure: https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr/cpassportal/
Travelers should undergo a PCR test upon arrival to Korea (independently), then quarantine and manual monitoring are NOT mandatory. A traveler staying over 6 days should also do rapid antigen tests (RATs) on the 6th AND 7th day after entry.
